Jiří Horák focuses on corporate and commercial law, M&A transactions, real estate and dispute resolution.

Jiří has more than 38 years of combined business and professional experience. He began his professional career at the Czech ministry of finance. This was followed by more than 10 years of work as an in-house counsel for an international trading group of companies, advising members of the group in former Czechoslovakia and abroad. In 1990 he helped establish the Prague office of a well-known German law firm. From 1991 onward, he worked for almost 20 years as a partner of Horak & Chvosta, a law firm which merged with the Prague office of White & Case in 2011.

Jiří advised numerous major international and Czech clients on their various projects within Czechia and Slovakia, as well as abroad.
